LinkedIn Formatter
Free LinkedIn Post Formatter
LinkedIn's composer doesn't have a formatting toolbar — so we use Unicode to fake it. Type your post, hit bold or bullet, paste the result into LinkedIn. Your post stands out from the wall of plain text everyone else is posting.

When to use it
When you want your hook to land
A **bolded first line** stops the scroll. A clean bulleted list is easier to skim than a paragraph. Both make your post look intentional.
When you're announcing something
Bold the headline, italicize the subhead, bullet the three things people care about. Three formatting moves, ten seconds of work, much better engagement.
When you're worried about accessibility
Heads up: Unicode formatting can mangle screen-reader output. Use it sparingly and never for entire posts. We show the trade-off inside the tool.
Frequently asked
How does this work without LinkedIn supporting rich text?
We swap your characters for Unicode mathematical variants that look bold or italic but are technically still 'plain text.' LinkedIn (and every other platform) renders them as styled glyphs.
Will this affect accessibility?
Yes — and that's a real concern. Screen readers read bold Unicode characters as their full Unicode name ('mathematical bold capital A...'). Use formatting on hooks or headlines, not entire posts.
Does it work on other platforms?
Yes. The same Unicode glyphs render on Twitter/X, Threads, Mastodon, Bluesky, and Slack. Anywhere that displays text, basically.
Will LinkedIn penalize formatted posts?
There's no evidence the algorithm penalizes Unicode formatting. It does penalize aggressive bait formatting (huge multi-line spacing, ALL BOLD EVERYTHING) — keep it tasteful.
